THE SUPPOSED MESSIAH
I never thought of adding my voice to the discussion pertaining to the establishment of the Special Prosecutor's office and its subsequent appointment of someone to man that position. On a different look I found it valuable to add my voice to the appointment and the office. The Special Prosecutor's Office as a campaign promise by the NPP government is supposedly to tackle the menace in governance by government appointees in the area of corruption as was the characterization of the NDC government. Corruption has always been the trouble causing headache to the development agenda of the state and in an attempt I found it wise for the establishment of this office. But my problem was who is going to occupy that office? Is it going to be the same old story of party faithful appointment who will lack the "balls" to prosecute his/her own people? On a second thought I felt it was going to be a witch-hunting strategy to end the reign and voice of the main opposition part...
