I vehemently disagree with what happened in Paris, France, that led to the death of hundreds, may their soul rest in peace. My conviction for writing this piece is that the western world is being bias to the African. Why do i say so? i say this because when some of these bombings and deaths occurred on the African soil no social media made an attempt to raise the flag of that particular country to show their disapproval on the issue but when it happened to France, the imperialist country here it is announced that everybody should change its profile picture with the French flag. The western world are hereby proving to the African that we are nothing but a nobody and less important. look at what happened in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, what is happening in Nigeria, Libya, and many African countries but nobody has taken the pain to show its disagreement to it. Over past few days, months and years i have asked many citizens of Ghana my mother land on what can be done to solve the erratic power supply that have crippled the economy, all i hear is they are not the oresident or the power minister. i became frustrated in the sense that i realised that many people only look up to the president or leaders of the country to solve their problems but not devising ways they can help themselves with situations at hand. with my little experience in learning entrepreneurship and the skills involve in solving problems i came to understand that each and everyone can solve his or her own problem without looking at the people or leaders at the top. Lets take this example, will you wait for the government to fix your breakdown vehicle before you move? Definitely not. so therefore you must always try and solve your own situation before the government comes in. When I dreamt of journalism during my primary school days it never occurred to me that one day that dream will become a reality. Listening to arguments from both those who want to maintain and those who the voters register changed, my assertion is that it should be changed. I know with this i will be tagged to a political party which is not to be done when people share their views on issues of the country. I believe in the ideology that no person should claim to belong to a political party but rather a country.  Now my reason for the call for change of the voters register is that during the court case where the main opposition party challenged the election results at the supreme court Dr. Afari Gyan made it admitted that the presidential register was over 5000 more than the parliamentary. He said that these were nationals working for the state abroad and thus eligible to take part in the presidential election but not the parliamentary.  When asked during the cross examination to bring the names of those people, he brought only 704 names. After learning Entrepreneurship for a few months I have come to realize that blue sky idea generation technique is simply thinking outside the box or a confined and indoctrinated idea. my problem is that the more you think and generate ideas you move from one box or confined indoctrination to another therefore one is always kept or caught in a box. I also understand that in solving daily situations or problem one need to be creative in his/her dealings and generate the best of ideas so that solutions can be derived to solve the issues at stake to one happy always.

The voter register of the republic of ghana is now the talk event of the day where political parties are taking their turns to make their intention known to the public and Electoral Commission whether to change or maintain the register that was used during the 2012 elections. Despite their take on it i have taken my turn to also make my intention known and my take on the register. this is not based on any affiliation to a political regime but rather as a concern citizen. many ghanaians will hit on me with my opinion as it is common in the country. If i remember vividly during the hearing of the  2012 election petition, Dr. Afari Gyan declared that the reason why the presidential voter register is more than the parliamentary register is due to the fact that there are ghanaian citizens working outside the country for the state and therefore need to vote in the presidential  but rather cannot vote in the parliamentary all because they do not live here. When Prof. Adei came out to say that the ghanaian parliament is corrupt the parlaimentarians came to say he was looking for attention whiles others wanted him dragged to the priviledges committee of parliament. a real statesman is not the person who speaks about the country in its bad state but someone who speaks the truth of his/her workplace. I was glad when Hon. Alban Kingsford Bagbin came out to vividly support what the learned professor said. This is a man who seeks for the welfare and good name of the ghanaian parliament. many are those who will only sit idle and wait to be dragged to face to speak the truth. What will one get when he seeks money before approving a budget or project that will benefit the nation? Nothing of course nothing. I am very sorry for all those parliamentarians who wants the Professor to be dragged to the priviledges committee when the know that that is what they do.
