WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL STUDENT
The
Success of Candidates
Every
parent takes pride of the situation that their children are in their final year
and soon be called graduates in the various levels of the academic ladder but
the pain is it to see your child trail in most of the subjects which makes it
difficult to continue with academic works.
For a student to succeed in both internal and
external examination it depends on so many factors which the student takes 50%,
parents take 20% and 30%. The burden to succeed is the students’ as according
to this statistics shown in the previous sentence.
The
Student’s Contribution To Success
The
student has a lot of works to do in achieving his/her success in the academic
field of studies and all other things expected.
It
is always a pity to see students wait for a teacher to make an attempt before
they also do. But remember you learn for yourself and anything you achieve is
for you and no one else.
First
and foremost, a student who wishes to achieve success is to take his/her books
serious as other things which is taken seriously. Taking your books serious
does not mean packing books into your bags to school but take the pain to read
them whenever the chance is granted.
Furthermore,
a student who wants to achieve success in the field of academia should make
sure that he/she does a lot of research into particular topics he/she is
studying to get a clearer view of the subject in question.
Also,
a student who wants to achieve in academic affairs must again have to take the
pain to draw a timetable for academic work and make sure it is categorically
followed so that success is achieved to highest level.
Hard
work pays alot so a student of academia should make sure that any assignment
given out to them in school must be done wholeheartedly to achieve the desired
success in academic work.
The
Teacher’s Contribution To Success
The
saying that “the rewards of teachers are heaven” is basically true because the
salary of teachers are usually low but they still take the pain to educate the
students that they are assigned to, to make sure they become the best persons
in their various fields.
The
contribution of the teacher to the success of the student is categorically
elaborated in the paragraphs below.
The
teacher is supposed to give assignments to the students and make sure it is
inspected and marked to make sure the right thing is done by student.
Aside
this the teacher is to take the pain to make available all the necessary tools
to improve teaching and learning. When tools are mentioned here it means the
necessary teaching materials like textbooks, and conducive environment.
THE PARENTS’ CONTRIBUTION TO
SUCCESS.
Charity
they say begins at home is really true in almost all situations in life. But
the situation we are to talk about here is the success of candidates or
students in any form of examination.
The
parents have a lot of responsibility in the success of the student in academics
as the teacher and student also have. The parents here are responsible for the
upbringing of the child and when there is failure on the part of the parents
then success cannot be achieved even if it is, it would not be easy.
When
the child or student returns home from school it is the responsibility of the
parents to see to it that he|she does the works given to the child at home and
perform a supervisory role on the child.
The
parents have the ultimate responsibility to provide the child with all the necessary
learning materials so as to ease learning. When such is not done the student
may have difficulty in excelling in academia.
CONCLUSION
In
conclusion, the student, the teacher and the parents have the responsibility to
achieve success and this underscore the fact that when the student excels all
these three components receive a fair share of the applause and likewise
failure so all should do their maximum best to promote the wellbeing of one
another.
