WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF GHANA

Image
I listened to the president, John Mahama on May Day where he is said methods to make Ghana an export country is underway. If i may ask, is an economy an export based if the products are produced by foreigners? Our economy has provided cheap means for foreigners companies to explore in the sense that we have reduce their cost of production in terms of transport because they now establish the companies here and export the goods and at the end enriching their various economies with the profits they make. I believe our leaders want an instance where they will say Ghana is export company with goods by foreigners.

WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL STUDENT

The Success of Candidates Every parent takes pride of the situation that their children are in their final year and soon be called graduates in the various levels of the academic ladder but the pain is it to see your child trail in most of the subjects which makes it difficult to continue with academic works.  For a student to succeed in both internal and external examination it depends on so many factors which the student takes 50%, parents take 20% and 30%. The burden to succeed is the students’ as according to this statistics shown in the previous sentence. The Student’s Contribution To Success The student has a lot of works to do in achieving his/her success in the academic field of studies and all other things expected. It is always a pity to see students wait for a teacher to make an attempt before they also do. But remember you learn for yourself and anything you achieve is for you and no one else. First and foremost, a student who wishes to achieve success is to

THE JOY OF MOTHERHOOD

Mother, the pride of humanity. The giver of life to the lifeless foetus. May your sweat be honored.  For nine months you carried me a lifeless body. After conceiving you carried me on your back. Whenever I cried, you fed me with breast milk. You washed me of my dirt whenever I am dirty. You never ignored me in any situation. You made sure my mistakes are corrected. Mother, the hope of mankind. May your sweat be championed with success.

NOT FOR PASSION BUT MONEY.

Image
It used to be fun watching all these sportsmen play their various sports on the field of play but now what do we see, people now play for the money involve. Especially African footballers or better still sportsmen play for the money involved in the sports. It is now difficult to find people who say they are doing this particular thing for the love they have for it. Now even the kids in nursery or pre-school will tell you when he/she is not given a certain amount then there would be no  work done . Why should this be so? It is because the leaders have failed in all their dealings in inculcating into the youths and citizens the need to know that the country in which they are leaving in is their property and when things are done the right way success would be theirs. Taking a critical look at the country we are in today all that is done is money conscious but not the wellbeing of the society. When I raise my eyes and see the direction the country is geared towards my heart sinks.

WHERE IS GHANA HEADING TO?

I listened to the majority leader in the ghanaian parliament on his claim on tree cutting where he said ghanaians should not patronize local made furniture because it destroys our large forest reserves. The question i would like to ask is that do those countries that produce the furniture he wants us to patronize have forest base than us? What prevents Alban Gbagbin from encouraging the nationals to rather plant more when they cut trees from the forest? All these are signs that our leaders are incompetent in dealing with peculiar situation in the country. He is rather encouraging importation of goods that depreciates our currency instead of exportation based economy that will appreciate our currency to meet standard.

life as a stage

Every woman was once a girl.  A man was once a boy.  Every build once had a foundation.  Every master was once an apprentice.  Every furniture was once a tree.  Every good social standing once had a humble beginning.  No matter the situation, you need a stepping stone in life.

Economic woes of Ghana

The economic woes of Ghana brings fear to me always. During the era of cpp the country didn't face the economic depletion the country is facing now all because our leaders are short-sighted and have no long term plans for the relief of the country. Is it money or labour power we lack? I know countries with low sunshine making maximum use of it but here we are having it in abundance. Lets sit up and work towards solar system of energy.
