Ghana and Africa has seen many set backs over the years following so many attempts of gallivanting away from the basis of what helped developed the continent in pre-colonial era.
In pre-colonial era someone may ask what really happened? What transpired many of us had no idea but from history lesson work in togetherness and unity characterized by socialist or communist activities.
During this stage of the African era, all the states and their members worked towards community development rather than personal gains and this actually moved African states far ahead of the other so-called continental giants.
It is at this point that democratic socialist factor comes into the picture when Ghana was ruled by persons with brains, passion for one another and sense of humanity. Socialism embraces all the factors of communism and idealism with a very new dimension of economic and social development of oneself through massive education and sense of nationalism.
Leaders of Africa today without exemption are now served leaders rather than serving leaders and the hunt to personal dignity has engulfed their mental faculty preventing them to think far about the people they lead.
The love for money has pushed them to sell their birthright to those vultures of human beings.
What mostly inspire me is that despite the falling interest of our people especially the leaders most the youth of Africa today are beginning to feel at home and fight for their right.
Sometimes the matter is not that our leaders do not want anything better for the continent but its about how to go about it. What they forget is a single individual cannot achieve in life without the help of others so as the Africa continent but selfishness and greed which is an inner substance prevents them to think far more than just personal interest.
Africa is bigger than personal interest and our leaders should move towards a single and one union government to move the continent far.
We the people of Africa has got the necessary resources to push our continent far above all others hence the need for a democratic socialist continent of Africa.
That is why i say Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and all other socialist leaders of Africa are heroes for their agitation for a union government for Africa which was misinterpreted by imperialists to suit them.
