This centers on the issue of Libya where Qaddafi was overthrown in a brutal way. Today, Libya, the once golden city has become the pathway for slavery. Just like the Salaga Slave market in Ghana, Libya has become the abode for cruel human treatments.



As young as we were in primary school, African Union day was memorable and joyous moment because we went on break and reflected on the glorious achievements of the union. We were often told about Julius Nyerere, Kenneth Kaunda, Jomo Kenyatta and the many freedom fighters who led the liberation struggle of Africa.

The once vibrant union has now turned out to be a puppet of the west and whoever stands against it is deemed an enemy of the west.


What then has become of AU, the body that justified the overthrow of Qaddafi? Silent on the matter because their paymasters have sealed their lips not make a sound. This body in its generality has become a barking dog that does not bite nor shy away its enemies. It has succeeded by been described as a meeting place with nothing good to offer the same citizens who give them the authority.

It was incredible how easily we clicked during our second encounter! Our first meeting was a bit awkward and tense, but I could tell she was just unfamiliar with her surroundings. Despite that, I couldn't help but notice her kindness and beauty, especially those smiles that never seemed to fade. We all couldn't help but sneak glances at her, trying not to get caught in our admiration. During our second meeting, I tried to keep my distance at first, but it was impossible. I found myself right in the middle of things, helping out, and there she was, offering her assistance despite being busy. We ended up having a deep conversation, sharing our experiences.
