SUPREME COURT AND SOCIAL MEDIA BROUHAHA

Image
themes What a country we live where everybody is free to talk his or her mind at any least thing that happens. Not quite long ago the Supreme Court gave judgement to a ruling which in my common and to many other is that the Electoral Commission should delete the news of those who registered with the National Health Insurance Card and be given the chance to register again. What baffles is that some say the ruling is asking for cleaning of register by what means?   What hurt most is how some senior journalists and lawyers took to lambast Justice Dotse, SCJ on his speak up on the judgement saying he had no right to talk about it. What is wrong with that? Absolutely there is nothing wrong with it because he can present a paper using this judgement at any gathering. This is because the case has been ruled already not in court awaiting judgement.   Another instance that hurt most is the struggle for supremacy by the Police and users of Social Media. I see no wrong with if social m

WASTED EFFORT

As a country we know the amount of money we waste in importing food such as rice, tomato, sugar and even petty things like toothpick so this was a massive move after the collapse of the factory after the over of the first president of the land. Joy eluded many people as the Komenda Sugar factory was commissioned by His Excellence John Dramani Mahama as they saw it a means to end the massive importation of sugar. This is a perfect initiative but is it to gain political scores or to save the nation? The answer always given is not appealing to the average citizen of common sense but only in the eyes of beneficiaries of this wasted effort. this is an ugly move despite the praise received from many journalists and people of high thinking capacity. little economics studied in senior high schools will tell one that factories are to located closer to source of raw material to reduce cost of production here is the case the raw material(sugarcane) for the mass or mini production of s

Foreign Religion, colonial form in Africa. part two

themes It will very difficult to let people understand that religion has no way in the African society as it goes a long way to divide the African society into classes which is against the norms and values of African society that exist long before the contact with European nations. Yes, some will argue that religion, being it Christianity and Islam brought to the African man civilization and eradicating barbaric act. What is more barbaric than what the European nation and Arab countries with their so-called inculcated in Africa? Religion is the basis for what we see today. The class society where we have the rich and the poor. The African man never knew division among themselves, taking the Bantu, Nubian, Ethiopian  and even the Egyptian civilization brings to bear clearly that the African society was the type that made people to believe in their society and their system until the coming into being of European and Arab migrants.   I am of the believe that  the many religions

THE ROAD TO AFRICA DEVELOPMENT

Image
themes  Ghana and Africa has seen many set backs over the years following so many attempts of gallivanting away from the basis of what helped developed the continent in pre-colonial era. In pre-colonial era someone may ask what really happened? What transpired many of us had no idea but from history lesson work in togetherness and unity characterized by socialist or communist activities. During this stage of the African era, all the states and their members worked towards community development rather than personal gains and this actually moved African states far ahead of the other so-called continental giants. It is at this point that democratic socialist factor comes into the picture when Ghana was ruled by persons with brains, passion for one another and sense of humanity. Socialism embraces all the factors of communism and idealism with a very new dimension of economic and social development of oneself through massive education and sense of nationalism. Leaders of
