JUDGEMENT DAY TALES

Image
themes Time and tide wait for no man and what you chase, you will definitely get is some of the sayings I remember from my grandmother when I was growing up. Its been while that this person whom I believe strongly hails from my region makes scanty and undeserving comments about people in society, Salifu Maase of Montie Fm has over a period of time made useless comments and here it has landed him and a whole station in merciless troubles together with his pals.   Despite these comments and in my appeal, I would have wished the direct attackers should have tamper justice with mercy on these people so as to show the other loud-mouthed people the laws and its dealings. The sanction in my opinion was harsh but the law knows right and the custodians know it right too. Many are those who have talked much against this judgement against the owners of Montie FM, the host and his panelists. Hope one day many scanty and ill-mouthed people would watch their mouth when speaking.

ENERGY CRISIS, THE MISTAKE OF THE OLD MEN TALE

Image
themes The energy crisis facing Ghana is just none but a mistake of the leaders who have been mandated to steer the affairs of the rich mineral deposit country with little or no knowledge as to how to move the country out of this dilemma of troubles and misery. How can citizens pay a high amount of energy tariff and enjoy little or no energy? Many leaders of Ghana have towed the wrong path to success by going the way of thermal in a bid to solve the energy crisis. during the erstwhile Kuffuor as well Mahama-led NDC administration power badges were brought  all to no avail. I wonder whether this country with technocrats have lost their knowledge in energy and electricity matter. I ask this because even Germany with little sunlight can generate over 3000megawatt of energy then what are we sitting doing with abundance of sunlight to as much as over 50,000megawatts of energy from the southern sector only with the exception of the northern sector. I wonder why we as a country neglected

Social Democracy and Capitalism.

Image
Many may think that there is clear cut difference between the two political and economic ideologies but i beg to differ that there is no such difference. Despite the fact that they have different names do not make them different since they both clamp at maximizing profits at the expense of the poor and hungry masses. Social Democrats claim to be leftist yet their principles do not make them so. How do you tell someone that allowing the rich to own the means of production and tax them to cater for the poor is different from allowing the private or rich man to operate? All these tend or end up in what is called exploitation of the working class. Again the social democrats are not different from the capitalist as in the sense that both allow for privatization of resources which in the long run breeds exploitation of the working class of which even the Holy Bible discredit. In this instance there is no clear cut difference between social democracy and capitalism. In a system where

UGLY SIDE OF POLITICS

Image
themes It is usually unfortunate of the way comments are met in the realm of politics in our country Ghana and this attitude is leaving deep cracks in our so-called tolerance for women. Here we are in a country where all political parties come out with the notion of strong sense for feminism and yet act in the opposite. Many flaws have been committed in this Nkrumah-land and need to be checked to prevent chaos. The bitter side of politics is that members of same political ideologies see nothing with one another comment though it has the tendency to disrupt the peace and also crush their reputation in the political realm. Bad utterances against women in our Ghanaian society by our politicians who are one way or the other role models to our youths is disgusting and need to debunked and those people called to order. Recent comments from Hon. Baba Jamal is very unfortunate and nonsensical to be channeled into themainstream of society. A member of a political party that has wo

SUPREME COURT AND SOCIAL MEDIA BROUHAHA

Image
themes What a country we live where everybody is free to talk his or her mind at any least thing that happens. Not quite long ago the Supreme Court gave judgement to a ruling which in my common and to many other is that the Electoral Commission should delete the news of those who registered with the National Health Insurance Card and be given the chance to register again. What baffles is that some say the ruling is asking for cleaning of register by what means?   What hurt most is how some senior journalists and lawyers took to lambast Justice Dotse, SCJ on his speak up on the judgement saying he had no right to talk about it. What is wrong with that? Absolutely there is nothing wrong with it because he can present a paper using this judgement at any gathering. This is because the case has been ruled already not in court awaiting judgement.   Another instance that hurt most is the struggle for supremacy by the Police and users of Social Media. I see no wrong with if social m
